Micro-house Construction

The city of Olympia is constructing micro-houses that measure 8’ x 8’ as a mitigation site for houseless persons. The houses are located at the corner of Plum and Quince. This site replaces the previous tent site near the port where 17 houses are being constructed by volunteer labor. The houses are insulated, have sheetrock walls, and have both lights and heat.
