Some of our awesome youth!

What's Going on?

The First United Methodist Church of Olympia is committed to providing young people
a place where they feel free to develop and express their faith through friendship, service and learning

Youth Group

The youth group gathers on Wednesday nights when there are Affinity Nights. A potluck meal is served at 5:30pm, and the youth are invited to sit at a table together for dinner. Then, at 6:30pm, there is Youth programming offered. There is occasional faith formation, a lot of fellowship time, & fun!

sunday school

Sunday mornings during worship. Youth leave after the Time with Young Disciples, and meet for a lesson with two trusted and screened adult teachers. This is our primary space for faith formation!

Youth Mission Trip

Serving our neighbors is a commitment of our youth ministry! Developing the spiritual practice of serving others in adolescence prepares our minds, hearts and hands to continue a life of service as adults.
