Sunday Morning Discipleship Classes

Starting next Sunday, September 15th, each of our Pastors will be leading a new Discipleship class on Sunday mornings. So come join us at 11:30am each week to spend some time learning together. Lunch will be provided.

Saving Grace (Gathering Place | w/ Pastor Alexa | 11:30am):
A Guide to Financial Well-Being provides the text and tools you need to address the topics of saving, earning, giving, spending, and debt, along with helpful strategies for achieving a sustainable financial life. We will be offering this class on Sunday mornings after worship (11:30am), starting September 15th. If you would like to take this class, please let Pastor Alexa know (pastoralexa@fumcoly.org). 

The class is free of charge, but if you would like to contribute to the purchase of your workbook, they cost about $15. 

Lunch With the Pastor (Room 222 w/ Pastor Heather | 11:30am):
Join Pastor Heather and one of our Lay Leaders on 9/15 for Lunch with the Pastor. This recurring event is especially for folks who are new to our church, and/or considering membership. Ask questions, enjoy table fellowship, and learn more about the UMC!

Then, starting 9/22, our Lay Leader Sue Raymond will be teaching "Radicle Methodism" in Room 222. In this course, you'll travel back to the roots of Methodism and up through the modern day. We'll examine the various rooted systems that create our current connection as The United Methodist Church. This is especially helpful for folks new to United Methodism or unfamiliar with its history and structure!
