Want to Join SPRC?

The SPRC is the Staff-Parish Relations Committee. This committee is a group of up to 9 people. We work closely with the pastors and a lay leader to support the relationship of the congregation with the staff. This committee is in essence the personnel committee of the church. We meet with the district superintendent, Rev. Kathleen Weber, annually to report on how things are going. We want to hear from you when things are going well. We want to hear from you when things are not going well.  

I (Indu Thomas) am currently the chair of this Committe. The Committee also includes, John Grettenberger, Terry Raymond, Jean Dragon, Jim Odiorne, Sue Sugarbaker, Laurie Kirschenman, and Andrew Sergienko. Andrew takes over as chair in July. Toni Miklich is the lay leader. We meet every month to help the pastors manage the church, provide staff support, review policies and procedures and assess the needs of the church.

It has been a privilege to serve in this role. If you are detail oriented, understand the importance of confidentiality or have a background in human resources, this might be the committee for you.
