Refugee Ministries Update
The Refugee Committee is having a meeting July 6, Thursday, at 6:30 at the church. We will be discussing our possible involvement with the new World Relief Refugee Resettlement Project right here in Olympia. Several of us went to a program about this recently and it’s really exciting that more refugees (about 50 this year) will be arriving in our city. We need to decide if and how we can help. We are still providing support for the Congolese family as well but they are gradually becoming more independent.
