Crafting Days With the UWIF
Feeling Craft-y? United Women in Faith is hostess-ing several crafting afternoons during August.
On Monday, August 18, Violet Crase will lead a session on "scrubby" making from 12:30 to 3 pm in Room 222. We will also survey the kitchen "soft lines" that may be offered at the Holiday Bazaar in November, but all are welcome whether they are interested in learning the ins and outs of scrubbies for their own purposes or with the Bazaar in mind. G-crochet hooks are also welcome!
Then, on Thursday, August 21, Nancy Adams will demonstrate how to create Scandinavian stars from fabric. This group will meet starting at 2 pm also in Room 222. If time allows we will also explore gnome Christmas tree ornaments. Other projects will be available for participation as well, on both days. Projects have yet to be selected for Thursday, Aug. 28, when we will gather from 12:30 to 3-ish, also in Room 222. Cool drinks and snacks will be provided.
