Let's Scarf Bomb the Church
Do you knit or crochet or sew? Is your stash of yarn or fabric out of control? Do you enjoy helping people? If you answered yes to any of those questions, scarf bombing may be the answer you’re looking for!
Scarf bombing is spreading across the country and we want to join the movement. Simply put, scarf bombing occurs when groups or individuals make scarves, hats, or mittens and put them in public places (in our case, the railing at the front entrance to the church) to be adopted by anyone who needs them.
Join Sue Sugarbaker at Affinity Nights on February 21 at 7pm or (6:00 for the potluck supper) to learn more. Bring some knitting needles or a crochet hook, yarn if you have some, and be ready to start crafting. Extra yarn and some easy patterns will be provided.
