Want to be a Liturgist?
In the United Methodist tradition, a liturgist assists the pastor(s) in leading worship. They lead congregational participation such as the Call to Worship and the Opening Prayer and read the scripture. All readings and prayers are supplied to the liturgist by email, so this job is well-coordinated and easy! FUMCO utilizes a sign-up calendar in Planning Center for people to schedule themselves on a particular Sunday. Contact the office to learn more!
Serving remotely: If you worship with FUMCO online and are interested in becoming a liturgist, please contact the church office to learn how you can record yourself reading the liturgy ahead of time and have it included in an upcoming service.
