Our June selection is the sports-comedy, Next Goal Wins (2023)!

After a devastating 0-31 defeat in a single game, the American Samoa football team continues to struggle for over ten years. They have never ONCE scored a single goal in a professional match. Tired of being embarrassed, the team's owner decides to bring in Thomas Rongan, a disgraced soccer coach from America. While the team adjusts to their new coach's more traditional training techniques, Rongan struggles to accept the customs of his new island home. In a battle of traditions, cultures will collide to bring some chaotic redemption to American Samoa.

We'll be showing the movie upstairs at First Olympia UMC in The Redwood Room THIS Sunday, 6/8 @12:30pm. There will be a light lunch provided before/during the screening. There will also be popcorn!
