Food Bank Warehouse Tour

Ever wonder where the contents of all those Green Bags go?
Join United Women in Faith for a tour of the Thurston County Food Bank Warehouse on Tuesday, Oct. 14 and see the behind-the-scenes efforts that go into keeping hunger at bay. Gather at 1 pm in the church parking lot, and we'll carpool to the warehouse for a working-hours tour of the facility. Tour time is 1:30 so we can see this amazing facility in action! Everyone is welcome to join us!

October Lunch Meeting

"Back to the Books" is the theme for our lunch meeting set for Oct. 8, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. We will celebrate the release of UFW National's 2026 reading list, discuss how we select the books we purchase for our cart, and explore other reading resources available to us.
Lunch will feature Carol's famous baked potato bar, plus salads and desserts at noon, with discussion, resources, and recognitions to follow. Everyone is welcome to join us for this nourishing—in many senses of the word—time!

Craft-y Thursdays

In October, Craft-y Thursdays are set for the 9th and 16th.
Join us from noon to 2pm in Room 222 for a cozy time of crafting, snacks, and informal visiting. More info on the projects will be coming soon. We may also do some simple service work. Wish you could join us, but Thursday afternoons are a bad time? Let us know what is more convenient.

Holiday Bazaar

Fall is in the air, and UWF thought's turn to our holiday bazaar "Joy to the World", set for Saturday, Nov. 15, from 9am to 3pm right here in the Great Hall and surrounding spaces.
We would be delighted to share the fun and community-building with any who might be interested in helping with the set-up (Friday, Nov. 14) the baking and candy-making, and assisting our guests on the day of the event.

Order Your Christmas Greens

Prices may be going up on many things, but not UWF's beautiful Christmas greens.
We are taking pre-orders for 3 lovely products at the same reasonable cost as last year - and the year before that!! Available for pre-order are 14" wreaths, $25; 12" wreaths, $20; and a 10" round candle ring (candle not included) for $15.
As our holiday Bazaar is some earlier this year, the wreath delivery will be on the weekend of Nov. 29 and 30 or by prior arrangement. You may order your wreaths at our table in the narthex, pick up an order form at the church office or contact Donna Gaddy at donnagaddy210@gmail.com. It is unlikely extra wreaths will be available in November, so please do remember to pre-order!!
