Emergency Protest With the Faith Action Network

Many of you may have seen the recent news that FAN and community advocate Muhammad Zahid Yussef was taken by ICE this week. We encourage you to join FAN staff and many other organizations and people of faith and conscience in protesting this Sunday. From the protest organizers:

“Decorated U.S. veteran, father, husband, & WA CAN member-leader Muhammad Zahid Chaudhry has been unjustly detained at NWDC. His family is suffering, and our community refuses to stay silent.”

This protest will include speakers from Washington CAN, CAIR Washington, One America and several other organizations as well as individuals who have worked alongside Zahid and his family. Zahid is a true beacon of hope for our community and an incredible light during these dark times. We are beyond appalled by his kidnapping, and need to act NOW! Bring your voice, your presence, and your power. Together, we'll show that our communities stand with Zahid, Melissa, and their family.
